Our Mentorship Program is for anyone who wants to become a skilled horse person, a confident leader and an advocate for horses. Whether you are a young person dreaming of a future in the equine industry or an adult who wants to deepen your connection with horses, you will be mentored personally.
This program is rooted in faith. Along with learning to do everything well, you will learn how to care for horses as God’s creation, entrusted to us. That is stewardship, and it shapes how we ride, train, feed, heal and advocate for every horse.

Stewardship of God’s creation
Every skill below is taught with one question in mind: how do we care well for what God has entrusted to us? Horses are His creation. You will learn to care for them with patience, honesty and respect.
Horsemanship & Riding. Forge strong bonds with horses through natural horsemanship, developing skills for all disciplines.
Equine First Aid and Safety. Master essential techniques to keep horses safe and healthy.
Equine Rehabilitation & Therapy. Support horse recovery with therapies like Class 4 laser, cryotherapy and red light therapy.
Equine Nutrition. Learn the science of horse health through nutrition and wellness.
Equine Reproduction and Genetics. Explore reproduction, responsible breeding, and the role genetics play in behavior, riding suitability and health.
Equine Health & Longevity. Learn practices that promote long-term horse wellness and vitality.
Horse Showing & Competition. Build your skills in competition and the bond between horse and rider.
Equine Rescue and Welfare. Advocate for horses in need and put their happiness first.
Business and Leadership Skills. Marketing, financial management and business management for the equine industry.
Public Speaking and Community Outreach. Build the confidence to lead and inspire others through events and initiatives.
HOW IT WORKS
Personal, not one-size-fits-all.
1. Paired with a horse
Each participant is paired with a horse. That personal connection builds trust, confidence and mutual respect, and you learn your horse’s unique personality, needs and preferences.
2. Mentored one on one
You receive personal mentorship 3 to 5 times a week, with hands-on experience and expert guidance, including how to steward horses as God’s creation.
3. Shaped around your gifts
Some people shine in rehabilitation, therapy and wellness. Others are drawn to riding, training and showing. Many land somewhere in between. We help you find where your passion and talent meet.
Because rescue and rehabilitation do not cover the whole equine industry, mentees are also paired with show horses and show horse prospects, for a well-rounded education that prepares you for many equine careers.

Spaces are limited.
We keep the program small so every mentee gets individual attention. To join, you apply and are interviewed, so we can be sure it is a great fit for both you and our horses. We select participants based on their passion for horses, their commitment to learning, and their potential to make a positive impact in the equine industry.
