How sponsorship works
A sponsorship is a monthly gift toward the care of one horse. It is simple, personal and it makes a lasting difference.

What your gift really covers
Heavenly Horses does not have a facility of its own yet, so we pay board for every animal in our care. Board, feed and hoof care together run about $350 a month for each miniature horse or donkey, and about $1,000 a month for each full-size horse, before any vet bills. Every level below helps. Pick the one that fits your heart and your budget.

Vet visits, dental work, medications, special supplements and emergencies cost more on top of these basics, so gifts above any level are always welcome. A single hoof trim is $65, a wormer is at least $10, and supplements add up fast. Do you have land or a barn you could donate or lease? We would love to hear from you.
Meet the herd
Every one of them has a story, and your sponsorship helps write the next chapter.
Strawberry
Age 4. Rescued last December, malnourished, pregnant and staring at a tree. We got the best nutrition we could into her for the rest of her pregnancy, and she captured our hearts.
Waffles
Age 6 months. Strawberry’s baby, born a little over four months after her rescue. The perfect mix of spunky and sweet, and we hope he becomes a therapy mini one day.
Snickers
Donkey, around age 10. She was severely overweight and at risk of founder. A careful diet and nutrition program is getting her healthy, and she is available for adoption. Ask about Snickers.
Rory
Age 3. Rescued alongside Strawberry, severely malnourished and anemic, hidden under all that fluff. He pulled through, and he is everyone’s favorite, the sweetest boy, with a place in all of our programs.
Good to know
A sponsorship is a gift, not an adoption. You are supporting an animal’s care; the animal remains in the care of Heavenly Horses and its partners.
Your gift supports the whole mission. Sponsorship funds go toward the care of the animals in our programs, and a sponsorship may also help others in need if an animal’s needs are fully met.
Visits are welcome, and the location is shared personally. Because we share so much of our work on social media, we do not publish the farm’s address publicly, for the safety of the animals and the people who care for them. Sponsors who would like to visit their animal, along with volunteers and program participants, are given the location directly. Just ask.
Giving in honor or memory. Our donation form lets you dedicate a gift in honor or in memory of someone, which makes a meaningful gift.
Heavenly Horses is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
